We have used David and his team multiple times over the past few years. They have done work on the outside of our house, smaller projects inside, and a basement remodel. Every time they were fast, professional and courteous. When they finish for the day they leave everything cleaner than when they started. We are so pleased with David and his team that we have recommended them to friends who have used them and have been pleased with their work. In fact, we are completely renovating our kitchen soon and are once again going with Simply Built.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review on behalf of David and his crew at Simply Built. From the moment we met David, we knew that he had a level of professionalism, kindness, and respect that you barely ever see anymore these days, particularly among contractors. He was straightforward, honest, and took the time to honor our wishes for a dream basement, while managing respect our budgetary limits. His extremely friendly and courteous crew (Especially Edgar!) arrived to work on time every day, and quietly walked in and out of the house taking care not to make noise that would distract us working from home. The entire basement was completed in exactly 6 weeks as promised and the quality and craftsmanship was beyond our expectations! David listens very carefully to every request, added feature, or change that we presented to him. I have hired multiple contractors and crews in the last 25 years and David was, by far, the best of the best. At the last day of our project, we lost water due to a frozen pipe caused by the -10 F degree day in February. He came over and tried to help us as much as possible, even bringing over three new space heaters to warm up our frozen pipes. The day after his project ended and after we paid him in full, instead of disappearing, he still managed to reach out to us and check in on our water situation, offering several ideas to help. We are clients of David and Simply Built for life and will most definitely hire him again in the future for additional projects. THANK YOU David! From day one my husband and I had a great experience with Simply Built. Our contractor and owner David Castaneda was extremely well spoken, kind and knowledgeable. Overall I’d say our house was a huge project: gutted our entire second floor and converted a half bath to a full and completely redid our first floor bath as well. The entire project was expected to take about eight weeks and we lived at home the whole time. David’s team were on schedule for the most part, respectful and did fantastic work. I’d like to point out how clean they were. Vacuumed everything at the end of the day which I really appreciated. There were few minor hiccups that occurred a long the way which was to be expected on such a large project but were taken care of no problem. I really felt listened to and any and all changes and suggestions were met with sincerity. I’d highly recommend David at Simply Built and his team and will definitely be using them for future projects.
Working with David and his team is highly recommended. The project was a bit harder than they anticipated but his team worked tirelessly (throughout hot summer days!) and we really appreciated their hard work and loved the end result. I'm planning to call on Simply Built for all of our house projects in the future. He was very communicative, with competitive pricing and on time with project delivery.
